Second Stage Round 2: Decin - NH Ostrava 70-67

There was a minor upset when Ostrava was edged on the road by Decin 70-67 on Sunday. Guard Josef Gabriel (194) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Tomas Hyka (165) supported him with 17 points. Decin's coach Antonin Pistecky used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 23 points and 9 rebounds by guard Jakub Mrstak (179-2006) did not help to save the game for NH Ostrava. Swingman Simon Cermak (192-2006) added 16 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Decin will meet Vlci Zdar on the road in the next round. Ostrava will play against Tygri Praha and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
